Honestly all analog TV tuners for PC's look pretty crappy in comparison to regular TVs. If you have over the air HD in your area then get the All in Wonder HD or TV 650 from ATI. The digital tuners are crisp, but analog is junk.

I am using the leadtek TV 2000xp Expert and it has pretty decent picture quality. The drivers made a huge difference at least in my case. Some drivers look made the picture look dark and redish color and other were just about right.

Also check you reception. Less than ideal reception will have a big impct on quality too.

Have in mind that full screen display will allway look bad or grany. That's basically a limitation on these type of cards.

thanks for the feedback guys, I am thinking about returning this thing and trying a different type but first I want to try a few things. I noticed that I have a winTV2000 and a WinTV32, is there a difference? also I cant seem to get the WinTV2000 to stretch to full screen is this possible?
again, thanks

What it really comes down to is the chip that does the decoding and the quality of the design. Alot harder to gauge on the external units than internal cards.

Also big name brands mean nothing, Hauppauge and ATI have had alot of crap quality in the past so always look for a review.
