TV tuner with two tv inputs... use a splitter?

So I'm thinking about buying an adaptec 3610 dual tv tuner... and it has two tv inputs. Now, I'm assuming in order to use the dual tuners I have to buy a cable splitter? Obviously I only have one cable coming from the wall. Thanks in advance

Yeah, Just don't get a cheap one. If the signals week a splitting amp might help the signal.

IIRC, you will need two set top boxes though.

Sometimes there are multiple splitting blocks in a house, so split it from the first splitting block even if it takes more cable.
