TV Tuner Software

I got a Mercury brand TV Tuner PCI card for Christmas.

It's working great so far, seems like a fine card. Anyway, the only thing that I wondered about was the software. The software that ships with it, called "TVR" isn't the absolute best.

What is the best software to use for a TV tuner? I want to have recording schedules, and a good interface.

i use beyond tv. mythtv and sage are also used by a bunch of people here.

edit- you really will need to do some research as to what will work best with your card, OS etc. maybe a google search of that card will find a forum or two on users experience.
