Is there any tv tuner software that actualy allows you to easily record shows and stuff using like a tv guide kinda screen or something?

You use their tv guide and click on the icon to pass the info on to your tuner software to set the record time/channel etc..
 
Yeah, TitanTV is pretty easy to work with, and it's what they suggest when you buy a Leadtek 2000 XP tuner from newegg...haven't really tried anything else.
 
Some should have come with your hardware. I had an ATI value TV card a while back. Wasnt very impressive. It recorded images in strange dimensions. Got rid of it.
