Currently, I live in a small apartment while I am attending school. I don't have space in my room for a tv, so I'm trying to condense my tv to my computer space.

I'm on the hunt for a decent tv tuner, here are the criteria:

- Must by USB 2.0, as I'll be working with a laptop
- Must use a remote
- Budget of $50
- Preferably bought from Newegg or possibly the Classifieds here

Also, I am probably going to run a dual monitor system. This would be my laptop's 17" widescreen monitor and another LCD monitor to run together for TV. Would I be able to do this? Have the stand-alone LCD showing the TV signal while keeping the laptop's screen for work?

If it helps, the laptop in use is a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a nVidia Geforce Go 6800.

Thanks in advance.

A little work on newegg brings up this:

(sort by price after clicking link)

Looks like your options with your criteria are limited, and look like cheap products.. you may want to invest a bit more $ to get a decent one that will last you and you will be more satisfied with. OR if someone knows a decent deal or something, just my opinion though. Good luck ;0

Thanks COBRA.

I was just digging around to see if anyone knew of a specific good deal to shoot for. One of those deals that are sleepers, ya know?

The main thing I'm worried about is the monitor situation. Will I be able to view TV on one monitor and work on the other if I was running a dual monitor setup?

Yes, you can do that with dual monitors, that is what I do :)

You just wont be able to do gaming + TV.

Awesome! Thanks man.

Who has time to watch TV while gaming? I don't, 'cause I never die. Haha.
