If I get an ATi TV Wonder VE, can I capture video in raw DV format? I need to know because I use my Mac to edit with iMovie and it can only edit in DV format ( i know it uses a lot of drive space but I dont care ). I think there *Might* Be a way to convert MPEG to DV but i don't know how.
 
If you have a miniDV camera with "pass-thru" capability, you could hook up your video source to the camera and then capture from the camera in DV format through a firewire port. I believe that DV capture can only be done through a firewire port, which the ATI TV Wonder does not have. What is your video source?
