TV Tuner Question

I found a nice $50 card that does MPEG-2 encoding. Can anyone tell me why NewEgg says it's NOT a tv tuner in the detailed specs yet it says tuner in the title?

I have the Leadtek 2000XP Deluxe tuner card and it looks nearly identical to that card. That card is without a doubt a TV tuner card. I'm not sure about the FM tuner but my card has it (see below).

I'm looking at the pictures on NE, but where is the sound out and remote sensor cord? I'm thinking those pics have to be wrong, as all it shows is the video in.

My Leadtek card has the same Coaxial/Svideo input, but also as a sound out, FM antenna, and remote sensor on the back of the card.

I hear a lot of people complain about Leadtek's software, but I think it works fine for my use of the TV Tuner. I basically use the tuner just to rip TV shows (Adult Swim!) to MPEG2 640x480. I crop out the commercials, join the clips together, and then convert to Dvix/Xvid.

Honestly, I can say I've never used half the features of the card...but for ripping and scheduling, it works fine for me.
