TV Tuner problems in linux

I'm try to get my Leadtek Winfast Tv2000 XP tuner to work in linux (mandrake 9.1). When I first used draktv i set the driver to leadtek winfast 2000 and set it for cable, draxtv detected the card and found channels. After it finished scanning I opened up the XawTV program to watch TV, but i got no picture because it was set on us-broadcast, so I set it to us-cable. When I did Linux froze, i couldn't move the mouse at all and I couldn't find a away to restart, so I manually hit the reset button on my computer. Now when I try to use DraxTv again, it refuses to find any channels. How can i get it to start detecting channels again?
