TV Tuner + LCD - Fuzzy Display

I get that an LCD is only really good at displaying at its native resolution. I guess my question is that when I'm viewing TV full-screen, have I switced to an incredibly low resolution. I've also noticed major ghosting, when I jacked in my Xbox. Doom and other games don't seem to ghost at all. This is on a Dell 1900FP, Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP, and a Leadtek 6800 GT.

So is my only choice for decent reception for the TV, to go with a CRT? If so, any recommendations.

maybe its the tv cards problem cause i have a hauppauge wintv pvr and a lcd viewsonic va720 i think. i don't experience any ghosting at all and the quality is only crappy cause i get a crappy cable signal in the first place....
