I have the following system (I'm sure that not all the following is relevant but I figure more information wont hurt)
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Motherboard (onboard soundcard)
AMD 4400 X2 (Dual Core 2.2 Ghz)
BFG NVIDIA 7800 GTX OC
2 Gigs of Corsair Dual Channel DDR Ram
NEC 3550 DVD Drive
Hitachi 3.0 gb/s SATA II 250 gig drive (getting more drivespace later)
Viewsonic VP930B (DVI LCD Flatscreen)
I run windows XP pro x64 95% of the time, and would greatly prefer to continue to beable to use it. I have No interest in windows MCE. (The other 5% being normal XP Pro 32 bit.
I have comcast Cable.
I am interested in purchasing a TV Tuner. I do not have an HDTV, nor do I plan to purchase one in the forseeable future.
I really only want to use the TV Tuner to watch TV on computer, and sometimes record.
TV tuners are something I know very little about.
I am willing to dole out upwards of 200 dollars (but of course would prefer not to)
What would the best (or at least a good) TV tuner for my needs and setup be?
