What is the best TV tuner card to buy? Lifeview Flyvideo 3000? Prolink PlayTV Pro? I only want a fairly cheap one, btu have no idea what to look for.
I've heard Hauppage are good, but they're too expensive for me atm :(

Mileage may vary with Hauppauge cards. I've had one of ther regular TV tuners - the WinTV GO - and it worked ok. But my WinTV-PVR has some serious problems; see the link in my signature. Check out the forums there too - Hauppage doesn't seem to put enough time into drivers and testing.

I see you are running WinXP, I used to have the ATI TV Wonder PCI with poor results with WinXP so I switched to Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP PCI Linky it works much better, especially with there latest drivers for WinXP.

It's all in the drivers ... the basic hardware is all the same in those cards, some Conexant chip. Particularly Windows drivers keep suffering from severe compatibility problems, from minor glitches to violating PCI specifications (need I say IRQ sharing?).
