Just curious if y'all had an opinion on this lil thing right here... I have a halfway decent video card, so I'm not looking at an ATI anytime soon. I just want something that I can run a coax cable line into and get some cable TV through... is this worth it, for the price? Or is there another company I should be checking out?

Thanks.

This lil dude...

I use use the LEADTEK WINFAST TV2000XP card and it works fine.
The xp drivers are stable.

The Avermedia card seems to have a good rating on newegg and the price isn't too bad. Unless you have seen it in action for yourself I would say it's a gamble. The Leadtek Winfast TV2000xp is a really nice card and has received many good reviews as well as having lots of features (as well as an FM tuner). The Leadtek costs more but you get more out of it and I hear the driver support is very good in XP as well (unlike the TV Wonder from ATI). I would also take a look at Hauppauge WinTV and PVR cards, they are really nice with lots of features. Take your pick from the cards out there.

Thanks for all your opinions... I'm leaning towards the Leadtek card... I have a preference for Leadtek products, they've always worked well for me. Guess I'll check my old stacks of PC Mag and see if there are any TV tuner reviews. Thanks!
