i was interested in purchasing a hdtv tuner card but i want to know i you guys have any recomedations for any...i need it to have hd input... and regular tv input(yellow white and red)...does anyone have a buying guides for theses cards...thnx in advance
 
If you happen to be running x64, then I can tell you what not to buy, and that is a Hauppauge PVR150. It's supposed to work on x64, and it did, for three weeks, and then a black screen and no sound. I have been corresponding with their support, but so far, they haven't given me any useful answers. Now they are claiming that this card was only designed for Vista, but that is not what their website says. I also know of others who do have this card working on x64, so I consider everything that they have said so far as to be stonewalling.
