TV Tuner Cards

Hey everyone,

I have this old tuner card that can tune into all of the "regular" cable channels but doesn't work on any of the movie channels. I was wondering if there are tv tuner cards on the market that can be used like the cable box you get with your digital cable or satelite service? Or is there mabye special software you have to have to recieve these channels?

I'm not sure what your budget is and if you need PVR software and a remote.

If you want the best, I would get this bundle (the digital on the right).

From my understanding you need to plug that into the output from your cable box though right?? So it needs the cable/satelite box to tune into the channels??

You'll need the cable\satellite box. The TV tuner is basically equal to a plain ol' cable-ready TV's tuner.

The others are right; there are not any TV cards currently on the market that would accept the CableCard necessary to enable the functionality you want.
