TV TUNER CARD LOCKUP W?HT

I have a TV tuner card from ATI, the wonder pro ve. it works fine but locks up from time to time. I have all the latest drivers from ATI. I have heard it is a conflict W/HT. I run a 2.6c P4 with 1 gig pc 3200. anyone know of a fix for this? ATI says its included in SP2, but i want it now.

The AIW cards were having lockup problems with hyperthreading processors for a long time. I'm not even sure if flipping it off in the bios was enough since windows installs a different kernel & hal for smp/hyperthreaded systems. A couple other tv tuner cards have the same problem with ht.

I think it's fixed now since I hear the mce people whining they need hyperthreading to install ati drivers or something like that. ^^ But anyway, a disable and reinstall might solve the problem.

most PCI TV cards suck....I've had much better luck with the AGP AIW cards
