TV tipped over - could this effect focus?

Whilst I was transporting my 24" TV in it's original box and styrofoam, the box tipped over due to the lop-sided weight of the set. It wasn't a hard knock, and it's probably my imagination, but could this have effected the television's focus?

I suppose it's possible. You should be able to adjust the focus yourself. You might even be able to do it without taking the case off.

Actually, you can adjust it but it requires the case to be taken off. It is not a hard thing to do but potentially dangerous if one is not careful. The focus is controled by adjusting the yoke on the back of the tube. I don't remember exactly how as the last time I did it I was working on a 8 year old TV and I just played with all the goodies on the yoke.....with the TV on and case off! This is dangerous but doable. I was able to take an old TV with bad focus, improper color, and a skewed picture and restore it to a better than new picture. It can be done but if you are not comfortable working on high voltage electonic equipment while it is on I suggest you take it to the repair shop.

The last TV I messed with actually had pots that you could use to adjust the focus. It was a 10 year old Panasonic I think.
