tv signal booster thingie question

Ok so I live in a house with a bunch of guys - the cable line is split ALOT. I was thinking about buying a signal booster to help imrpove pic quality on the tv. Does the signal booster go on BEFORE or AFTER the multiple line split?

Does digital cable look better with a HDTV?

Thanks

you could put it before or after. I would put it after since your the one buying it. Digital TV will only look better on hdtv in the channel you are watching is in hd.

You'll want to put in as close to the beginning of the chain as possible. If you place it close to the end, all you'll be boosting is a crap signal. You can't polish a turd, Beavis.
