been watching a ton of married with children recently. man oh man is that show fucking hilarious. but i don't think they could reboot it because ed oneil is too old, and they can't have someone else try to play the characters, it just wouldn't sit right.

i also can't believe that show was on Fox. not a chance in hell Fox would allow a show of that nature now a days with the nanny state we live in now.

Uhhh... FXX? There's way "worse" things on there than Married with Children.
And if a show still holds up today (you said its "fucking hilarious") then no need to reboot.

i said FOX, not FXX. of course it could be on cable.

and a reboot would own because we'd get new episodes.

I am ashamed that none of you have said the most obvious one that must have a reboot.:colbert:

BAYWATCH

New batch of hot lifeguards, slow motion running, enough said...

I guess the reason people like Jericho so much is b/c of the similarities/direction with tribes concept of the Wool books that the show was heading towards.

In this age of internet there is no need to sit though an hour of boring bull hit so see girls running around in skimpy clothing.

You mean this wasn't a legitimately plausible scene?

Which episode am I describing? It's not lupus, but he still gets his diagnosis wrong about 30 minutes in. Then at minute 51 he sees something totally unrelated that makes him realize what the real cause is.

Exactly, which is what made this show shine. The same plot over and over and over...and I still loved every minute of it :p

Hogan`s Heroes

I would love to see The Muppet Show continued. Or, at least get it on Netflix or something.

Hogan's Heroes - great series based on a great movie (Stalag 17). But, I don't see how it could be modernized - I mean, we haven't really had recent wars where the public is keenly aware of prisoners of war on our side. Making a series about prisoners at Guantanamo escaping nightly and going out to blow things up just doesn't seem like it would go over well.

what about a MacGuyer reboot?!

:awe:

It'd just end up as a reality/competition show where contestants have to escape various extraordinary scenarios with ordinary items.

On topic: Has anyone said Firefly yet?

We don't even need a reboot. Ed O'Neil is the only one that still has a career. Bring back the original cast!

What are you talking about?? LMAO. Who do you think was Gemma in SOA? And Christina Applegate does all kinds of movies.

David Faustino might be close to not doing much, but he has steady TV cartoon voice overs and b-movie jobs.
