hey fuys with all the talk of 1080p/720p/480p/1080i/480i, i have a few questions regardind HD tv. Say i buy an Xbox460/PS3 and the game is coded for 480i/480p/720p and i have an 1080i component input rear projection tv, could i still play the game in 720p or even 480p? am i stuck in only 1080i or 480i?

Sure, it will be converted to the native resolution of the monitor.
