tv question - upgrading from old 27in TV to HDTV LCD

like the title says, I'm used to a 27in CRT. To get a screen that will feel like the same size or larger, would 32in be the place to start?

If this is for your bedroom, 32" could be OK.
If its for the living room, make it 42" at least.

At roughly 34 inches a 16:9 set will have a 4:3 area equivalent to a 27" 4:3 set.

All depends on your budget, I have a 32" in the living room and a 26" in the bedroom and am happy with both. The 32" will definitely a lot feel bigger than your CRT when you are watching the game or a good movie in HD. Of course if you can afford to go a little bigger then by all means check out the 37's for a few hundred more.
