I'm doing a little research to see where and how satellite and cable companies like Dish Network and Comcast get their programming feeds. I've read a bit on howstuffworks.com, but they mainly describe the delivery method the cable and satellite companies use.
How does Time Warner or :insert broadcast company here: actually get these signals to the cable or satellite company for delivery? What medium do these companies need? Thanks in advance for any replies.
