tv-out

I bought a new computer and figured i could use my old one to display video on my tv. I thru an old voodoo3 3000 in it (its a 450mhz celeron) that i had lying around.
I was told this would work fine for playing movies and what not. It sucks. I don't want to buy a new card because its not worth it, but this has tv-out and it should at least be watchable. Has anyone had any luck getting a good picture from this card? I tried playing a movie and it flickers soooo much that you can't even watch it.
I find it hard to believe that they included tv-out and it works this poorly. any movement on the screen causes blocky flickering in the bottom quarter of the tv.

It's a 32inch RCA tv. Using composite because my s-video cable wont fit in the back of the card for some reason.
