TV out with nView: resolution problem.

Ok I'm trying to get my TV out to work right so that I can watch movies on my TV and still use my regular desktop at the same time. Everything seems to be working ok with just one problem, when I enable the second display (my TV) it refuses to set it to any res lower than 1920x1080. What happens is I can see things fine on it, but only the top left corner since the TV is only showing me the top 640x480 pixels. I've tried changing the driver for it (both 'default monitor' and 'generic TV'). It is set to the right format under device selection(M/NTSC, s-video).

Any ideas?😕

Take a look at WinDVD 4, available from InterVideo. I downloaded this yesterday and i am so impressed with it! It plays all DVDs and DivX/MPG files, and there is a special option for TV out, which allows you to show it full screen on the TV (I use the Show Full screen on TV option, and change resolution to Best available) and it shows full screen on TV out, and also on a window on monitor, but that can be put in the background, and i make it really tiny so i can just about see it on the monitor, and still fine on the TV 🙂

I can even watch DivX on my Dual Celeron with TV Out on GF2MX while encoding 2 MP3s with LAME! 🙂

Confused
