TV-out TV Connection??

I have a ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 32MB video Card...

Question.. Ive got my ATI tv-out card hooked up to my TV through serveral
boxes and it displays the signal on the TV. What is the best setup to give both
sound and picture to the tv from the video out card. Ive got a few cords that
came with the Video out card. Im wondering what to use to plug into the back
of the TV itself. NOthing came with the tvout card for that. I have to use some
of my creative thinking. So I have not sound!!! Only through the PC speakers.

Also is it possible to have the cable signal run through the tvout card to watch
TV when your not using the computer display or would I have to disconnect and
connect the cable directly to the tv?
Thanks Guys,
Andy

The best setup depends on the connectors on your TV set.

Best: S-video output of the Radeon(its on the multi-gang output connector) into the S-video input of your TV (s-video carries the video signal only) and the line-out of your soundcard into the audio RCA connectors of your TV (the white and red plugs).

Not as good: Composite output of the Radeon (yellow rca) into the composite video input of your TV, audio same as above.

Worst (still good): S-video or composite video AND line-out of your soundcard into a RF adaptor and then coax from the adaptor into your cable connection of your TV.

Note: For DVD's, you can use the S/PDIF connector to pass through to a AC-3 decoder/amplifier if you have one.
