TV out stopped working

A few weeks ago my TV out was working fine. I tried to get it working tonight with no success.

The video card is a 9600XT connected to the TV via S-Video cable. When working with the ATI settings under the Displays tab it looks as if it's not recognizing the TV is plugged in. If I use an RCA cable with the S-video to RCA adapter that came with the card it recognizes the TV but all I get is a horribly distorted picture.

The last time I had it working I don't remember if I was using the S-video or the RCA cable w/ adapter. I tried rebooting with both cables but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
