"TV OUT" and "S-Video" are not necessarily the same thing.

TV-OUT (just a label) can be RF, composite, or SVid. RF would be like an antenna connector (an "F" connector) - threaded. Composite is usually a yellow RCA jack, and SVid is usually a four-pin "DIN" connector. None of them will work with any of the others ones without some sort of adapter / converter.

Three's component video too, but I've never heard of it ever being labeled TV OUT.

(The red and White RCA jacks are for audio)

Good Luck

wal-mart has cheap RCA and s-video cables, but they aren't very long, 12ft is the longest s-video i have seen in a wal-mart
you have to go to a specialty shop or the internet to get higher quality or longer ones

the reason i wasnt sure if they were the same thing is because at bb i purchased a "tv-out" cable, which showed a picture of a computer connected to a tv. it appeared to be the same thing as an svideo cable. so would a svideo cable work then?

some TV out video cards have both a composite cable out and an S-video out. (most of them i think just have s-video)
