TV-Out Quality

It's been a while since I last checked up and wanted to get some inputs. My previous (and very old) experience with tv out was pretty bad. I was using an ATI (Rage 2?) and the picture was all squished and barely readable. I was looking into getting a tv out card for quality playback say for example divx and wanted some opinions about it on a regular tv set with standard rca inputs

Thanks!

I haven't heard any complaints 'bout the current (and even the last gen) of TV-out cards from ATi, Nvidia, or Matrox. I think the limiting factor is gonna be the quality of the video you're outputting to the TV. Your typical divx movie is gonna look like crap if you watch on your average TV.
