I have a Radeon 9800 pro with s-video tv out. I have gotten this function to work previously simply by enabling the second monitor and checking expand desktop. I want to use this feature to watch movies from my computer on to my tv. However, I am in a different situation with a different tv and am now having problms.
I have the s-video cable plugged from my computer into a video switch--along wiht a ps2 and a gamecube. The switch accepts s-video connections and outputs into just an RCA video into the tv. With this configuration, the tv is blank when set to the correct settings (as far as i know) and I cannot get my tv to output any display, whether in desktop expansion mode or clone mode. In fact--my video card does not seem to recognize that a tv is connected. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix this?
