My system is :
Athlon 2000+ xp
MSI kt4 ultra motherboard
MSI geforce 4mx 8x agp with tv out
Samsung 550s 15? monitor
Windows xp professional
My tv is almost 7 years old. It?s a normal 21? sony tv. It does not have a s video in port. So I connected the tv out using a RCA cable in the video in port. When the monitor is not connected with the TV, I got the display on my TV and the quality was quite good. I could enjoy DVD movies on the large screen.
But when I tried to connect both my monitor and tv together it does not detect my TV. I tried the nview option to clone my desktop, or detect any other display; but no other device was detected. According to the manual provided by MSI I should be able to clone my desktop in a analog TV, but ?clone desktop? option is disabled. Whats wrong? Why can?t I use the TV as dual display?
I am using all the latest drivers (bios, video card etc).
Please help.
