TV-Out: PC and TV monitor not on at the same time!

The folks at Rage3D are ignoring me

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro with the latest drivers connected to my CRT through the DVI adapter (otherwise, I get some minor image corruption). I want to use TV-Out to have an image on both my PC and my TV monitor but it isn't working. It's only one or the other (this doesn't happen without the DVI adapter however, but the image corruption and moving lines are too annoying).

Is there any way to force this?

I don't know about your card, but on some cards you can't use the upper vga/dvi port and the s-video port at the same time. Try using the corrupted vga port and the s-video, that may work.
