Help Required:
I recently got an HP m/c with DVD drive. It has NVIDIA TNT2 Vanta 3D AGP graphics card. What can i get for a TVout card?

Do I have to get a new Video card or can I get a card just for video out?

Thanks for the help

I really dig the ASUS Deluxe cards. They have good quality TV out. You can get a Asus TNT with i/o, an ASUS TNT2 with i/o, Geforce with i/o.

The Vanta is a cutdown version of the TNT2. A cheap GeForce MX with video out would be a good option, I've heard the eVGA cards are good for the price (~$100). You could sell your Vanta to help offset the cost, and use only one slot for the task.

If it was me, I'd pay the premium for the ASUS. But, I'm a tweaker...

Or you could get a separate scan converter that connects between your PC and TV. Then you will have TV-out no matter what video card you have now or in the future.

Others on these forums have and like the AverKey imicro scan converter, and it has been spotted for less than $60.
