I guess I'd have to say the internet. Can you say Anandtech?? :) For some reason, I could convince my dad into getting cable internet, but not cable tv.

Wow... TV sucks during the day, but my poor computer loses when nighttime cable comes on. I couldn't live without either one. My brain might accidentally be exposed to some thought-provoking material, and I'd have to learn how to get along with those human-thingies. :p

Internet. TV is too much like a one way street......junk coming in and nothing coming back out. At least here on Anandtech I can regurgitate all my drivel every now and again.

There are real people I can talk to here on the Internet.
The people on teevee are just a bunch of pixels. They never talk back.

You take that back! The TV always talks to me! Awww, Rachel, how sweet! Get away from her Joey! TV is my friend. :D

Okay, I'd choose the internet anyday. If I really wanted to watch TV, I'd just stream it off the 'net.

Never hooked the TV back up when I moved, haven't really missed it. Though when football season starts it could get a little rough.....Start shaking and foaming at mouth if I have to go more than a day without internet access.......

I'd have to go with Internet being more important. I don't even have cable, dish or even an antenna for TV at my house. But computers, got 2 and a LAN setup with internet connection sharing.

TV is suc... :p

The internet is much more educational. I have learned alot from being online, I could not learn from tv. But I still need my crime shows, and of course Friends.

I also surf the Internet and watch TV on my computer at the same time. If I had to only have one, it would be the Internet!!:)

The Internet is where I spend most of my time. Especially since it's dial-up ;)

I have a DSS hook-up for my tv, but I don't watch it much. My wife does, though.

I really only watch during Basketball season, or to watch a video/DVD.

It is more TV right now, (I also have the Dish Network Satellite system) I don't surf the net much at home, (My boy does more often than I) I do get online a lot to play UT though. I am really hooked on this game. It's just not much fun playing against bots anymore.

internet! I hardly ever watch television.....I've survived without a VCR for the past year now, and have no problems.....I've just got an old 14" TV with no remote, 12 channels and I'm doing fine :)

Internet.

I would say both, if I had a television in my room, but I don't, so most of the time it's Internet, not television.

Most of the time they only play crap anyway, though.

Yeah internet is much more educational, interactive, and varied. Find anything you can imagine on the internet.

I only watch TV for the Simpsons and sports (for the most part), and I also watch several movies a week.

But if I had to pick it would definitely be internet...
