TV on the PC

TV Tuner or a new graphics card that supports TV?

What kind of options do I have?

I was looking towards upgrading my video card anyway.

Also, is the Samsung 710T LCD monitor, or similar LCD monitors, good for watching tv on?

Thanks

Having a seperate TV tuner gives you more flexibility for changing/upgrading video cards. I'm using a Happauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 that works well, or you can get a seperate TV tuner card.

I'm not sure about the 710T, but we have a 712N that works well for TV and video (DVD movies).

1) Go to Newegg and purchase the Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP pci TV tuner card for ~$45.
2) Download DScaler and watch TV on your PC.
3) Umm.. profit?
