So lets say I get standard cable TV (Comcast).

Is it possible to hook up the cable coming out of my walls directly to my TV tuner card... say this one?

And have it broadcast on my computer monitor?

And does the signal go from my video card to my monitor or do I have to connect the monitor to the TV tuner card?

Also, how does the picture look? Bad and grainy or nice like a regular LCD TV?

BTW, my monitor is 22" (1680 x 1050) screen.

Do you guys have any other suggestions for TV tuner cards?

If all you want to do is watch TV on you monitor I would suggest an external tuner. I have several and the cheapest one I have is Kworld. It supports 1680x1050 and cost liek 50 bucks. Cable plugs right into it as well as many other connections.
