TV mount question

I can see reasons why the double arm might be a bit more sturdy from a leverage perspective. Not that either of the units you linked to should risk breaking. But even slight sagging can be annoying, especially if the arm is extended and the TV is turned at an angle. Additionally, if you're going to be frequently moving the TV and swinging it around, my personal experience has been that the double armed units can sometimes a bit more attention when moving them (and return back to a flat position against the wall). This isn't a huge deal for me personally, but for some reason my wife and kids never get the set back correctly. Finally, consider stud placement. On that single arm unit you linked to, you would clearly want a stud to the immediate left of the hinge. The double arm unit you linked to might offer more flexibility re: stud placement (of course, there might be single arm units that offer similar flexibility).
