TV maker agrees to class action settlement for fake frames

BFG10K

TV corporation claims "effective refresh rate" on 60Hz TVs due to motion interpolation, and is now paying out for a class action lawsuit.

Sound familiar? NV refers to theirs as "generated frames" or in some benchmark charts, simply as "framerate".

I've said right from the start all of this "aye eye" crap is nothing more than fraud perpetuated on customers. Deceptive, misleading, false advertising. All three corporations need call it what it actually is: an upscaler from a lower resolution/framerate.
