Tv is flickery when I try to use my computer with it

I have this TV and I can connect it using dvi, and I can view things using 1920 x 1080 resolution, but it is really flickery and it drives me nuts. I want to play half life 2 at this resolution but is there any way I can get rid of the flickeryness (if that is a word).

You will need to create custom scan timings in power strip.
