I'm looking for a used TV, about 36"-42", preferably flat screen. I'm looking to spend about $400 on this TV, but just don't know what is good out there. Are there any suggestions?

Well in that range, do you want a CRT set or projo?

Check your local TV/Electronics repair places, many of them sell good quality used TV's. See if you can find one with a warranty offered by the repair depot

More specifics please :eek:)

<shrug>

I've had my 55" 16:9 RPTV for 2 1/2 years and I've moved twice and haven't had to do anything to it.
