TV "designed for XBOX"

It's a load of turds. Expect RCA to support the VPORT for approx. 20 seconds.

It's been around for a while. Just another marketing gimmick and a way for RCA to make some money off MS. I bet your PS/2, GC will work just as good with that TV.

Gamers will love this 27" TV with VPORT, a one-cable solution for best-quality Xbox video which doubles as a component video input.

Really! So it's made for best quality Xbox video, but it also happens - thank God! - to work as a component video input! Whew, I thought it might actually BE a component video input.

Conclusion

The 27V550T has a lot going for it. It features a good sized screen, a nice array of inputs and outputs, and very nice image quality. On top of all this, and what really seals the deal, is price. It is widely available for $249.00, perhaps less if you really look. (The MSRP is $349.00, but this means absolutely nothing, as even the company sells it for $249.00.) If you're an Xbox owner looking for a new gaming TV, then the 27V550T deserves a high spot on your list of candidates.

Recommended.
