When I playback videos that I've recorded with the tv card, I most of the time get a constant but droning hissing sound in the background. I have an ATI TV Wonder VE (which I finally got working with Showshifter) and a cheap sound card. Is this because my sound card sucks, or because the TV card is only mono and not stereo capable. The odd thing is, I don't get the hissing background sound on some channels such as news programs, like Fox. But on CNN, I do.
