tv buying headaches

man! i am having trouble buying a new tv. first off, i don't know whether to get a LCD or Plasma. i have heard of Plasma's picture burn in problems; is that still a big problem in today's plasma tvs. which one will have better quality (LCD or Plasma). i have heard that LCD's have better pic quality; but for soem reason when i went to my local Fry's, i saw that plasma's pictures are much more colorful and have less noise in the picture then LCD's. i am thinking about buying the plasma tv, Samsung HP-R4272. what do you guys think about that model. thanks.
