Question TV audio out to bluetooth headset?

According to a few Q&A questions on the Best Buy and Amazon pages, this model has bluetooth support, so you should be able to pair your bluetooth headset to the TV directly. I use bluetooth headphones with my Samsung TV the majority of the time. The TV disables the external speakers as soon as I connect the headphones via bluetooth. It's super convenient.

i see the reviews by people saying it has BT for connecting speakers and headphones. strange that the manual does not say anything about bluetooth.

That is strange that Toshiba doesn't mention bluetooth in any of their documentation. This PC Mag review mentions that the remote control is IR and bluetooth, for what it's worth. I suppose you could go check it out at a brick and morter Best Buy and take a peek at the menus/settings, if you don't want to take the reviews/answers online as gospel. Good luck, either way!

Before you go and purchase a specific TV, you might just want to look into a phone app called Tunity which would then let you use any headphones you use with your phone to listen to your muted TV. I don't know if it works for every station/channel/movie, but it is something to at least look into.
