Can anyone give me some pointers on the best ways to set up a TV anetenna??

I've got one up right now and all the channels look really nice, except for one. I'm not sure what the problem is. The channel is 14 in the Salt Lake City area. It's UHF. I have a rather nice antenna good for 120 miles. I've tried rotating it around a little, but it doesn't seem to help.

Is there anything on-line that could give me any pointers?

This sucks 'cuz it's the local station for the Jazz games. :)

Broadcast TV is more-o-less line of sight.

You can have problems if there is a hill or very large steel structure between you & the transmitter. steel buildings tend to cause echo problems & hills >> decreased, weak signals.

the usual solution in rural or semi rural areas is more elevation.

simple check is to get a Topo Map & plot locations of towers vrs your antenna

That's part of the problem... I'm not sure where the broadcast tower is.

I've sent off an e-mail to the station to see if they can help me out with some info..
