TV and 27'' display on one card

Hi guys. I have a bit of problem here and I appreciate your help very much.

I have a PC with R9 280 that is connecting to my 27'' Samsung monitor through DVI-to-HDMI adapter and direct HDMI to my home theatre system, which connects to my TV

My current setting is duplicate desktop onto both displays so that when I want to use PC to watch movies I can just move over to the couch and bring my keyboard+mouse or vice versa.

My problem is that once I turn off my TV, my samsung monitor becomes the "extended" desktop with nothing on it and when I turn off my monitor, the desktop remain unchanged on the TV.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you! My samsung monitor is identified as 2 and my TV is 1 when I click on identify

So you are saying you want their identifier numbers to be swapped?

To do that all you need to is bring up display properties and grab one monitor and put it on the other side of the other one then click apply.http://dl.maximumpc.com/galleries/dualmonitors/Win7_ScreenRes.png

I have 4 monitors hooked up to my video card, 3 different brands of lcd monitors and one LED TV.

I have not experienced what you describe. I have a AMD/ATI 7770 brand video card.
