My friends motherboard died, p3v4x and I'm helping him replace it. He has a P3-700 FCPGA. Does it matter which board, TUSL2 or CUSL2 board I get for him? Thanks.

Either will work with the CPU he has. The TUSL2 will support .13u Tualatin CPUs, the CUSL2 will not. Get the TUSL2.

Go for the TUSL2 or TUSL2-C.

The TUSL2 family has somewhat more of an upgrade path than the CUSL2 family.

The TUSL2 has an additional Promise ATA100 Controller over the TUSL2-C.

Yea, go for the TUSL2 series, there should be before the P3 Celeron is retired Tualatin Celerys up to 1.5GHz so you will appreciate in the future the Tualatin Upgrade path
