Excellent weather yesterday in east TN, sunny in the low 70s. It's time for my bi-yearly wash and wax of my 2013 FR-S. I purchased this new Turtle spray wax from Amazon last week on sale for $20.85, still expensive. https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-53477-Solutions-Graphene/dp/B08P53V7KN
After washing and drying with micro fiber cloths I used a micro fiber foam applicator pad to apply the spray. This product is thin and a little goes a long way. At first I used too much and got some streaking. A damp microfiber cloth removed the streaks. I also used it on the rubber and vinyl trim, no staining. Finished by buffing the car by hand with dry microfiber cloths. Turtle Wax suggests for best results to allow it to cure for 24 hours.

Here's a video I found comparing their Seal N Shine to Flex Wax:

Looks good for an almost 9 year old car.

Good job! Your car looks nice.

I tried Meguires hybrid ceramic wax the other day. Cost almost $27. It did not go well. Went back to carnuba, which is hard to find on the shelf these days. Everything is a high end wax now.

I just waxed mine last week. Living in Chicago the fall wax I use is collinite 476. It will last a good 4 months in relentless rain, salt, and snow. Fall waxing is all about protecting the car through the winter.
