Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

OK so i have TB Santa Cruz installed w/ its control panel. I max out the master volume but whenever I play counterstrike the volume automatically lowers itself because I guess it detects the loud gunshots or whatever from the game. Is there any way to stop this from occurring? I like the volume on the TBSC to be maxed out and stay that way. Thanks~

That's really strange. I had a TBSC and never had that problem with any games.

Did you try a driver update?

are your sound setting right in Half life? What speaker setup do you have. How are they hooked up. What are the settings you have chosen. We need info to help

My sound setting in Half Life is set at high quality maximum volume. All 4 speakers work fine and i have no problems within COunterstrike itself. It's only the Santa Cruz control panel settings - after i play CS i notice that the volume settings in TBSC is turned all the way down, probably because it detected the loud gunfire etc and adjusted itself automatically. Any way so that it doesn't do this?

I've never hear of this problem... I'm looking around for other answers and didn't find anything. Try lowering the sound in the game itself??

what? go to the site and download the newest drivers. the control panel is rather useful.

and no, it shouldn't adjust the windows control panel thing. i have tb santa cruz and cs source too.

i fiddle with volume a lot cuz i sometimes listen to web radio while i play..s o i turn down game volume so it doesn't overwhelm the radio. i tab out a lot too..never once has cs source altered windows volume.

"too loud adjustment" is not a feature of tb santacruz or its drivers.

Ok only problem i have with this soundcard is that i cant have a headset like the normal kind not a usb for some reason it wont work anyone know why?
