Ive been fighting with my TB Santa Cruz for a few days now in WinXP RC1 as it just wont play nice with some of my games :(
Anyway, ive reinstalled Win2K and popped the 4078 drivers on and am pretty happy but for Eurofighter Typhoon giving me a hard lock BSOD offering the excuse of IRQ-less-or Equal etc after about 10 mins of play? hmmm? Once i take the card out and re-enable the onboard sound i have no more probs.
I have heard people saying to use the beta XP drivers with Win2K but having played with them in XP am a bit hesitant.
The cards in the obligotary non IRQ sharing slot 3.
If there is going to be a high likelyhood of ongoing driver issues with this card please let me know guys so i can return it and try something else.
If anyone would care to offer me their experiences with Win2K and the Santra Cruz it'd be much appreciated.

That is the current recommended driver set for the Santa Cruz with W2K. There is also a beta set posted for WinXP. These are currently on the TB web site.

See another post today for that.

Ive seen this kinda stop before when i had my KT7Raid a while back but cant remember what i pinned it down to :(
If anyone can offer me some advice on whether they think this is Hardware or Software be a great help.

:( I was really getting to like the Cruz too, i hope this aint going to have to be returned :(

I'll post another thread and see if anyone can tell me what the stop message is all about.

thanx,
