Turtle Beach Santa Cruz HELP!!!!

Hey,
I just got a new turtle beach santa cruz sound card, and i can't even get it to work.

i disabled onboard sound in the bios,
i follow all the directions, and it just doesn't want to work

i have a PII 300, 128mb, win98
4PCI slots,
-1st video card
-2nd network card
-3rd empty
-4th sound card

Windows recognizes it as an unknown PCI Audio Card, somethin like that. i cancel out of that, and install from the CD. after it installs all the software, it says isntalling drivers, then the "new hardware wizard" comes up again. i've tried cancelling, i've tried going on with it, but when i go on with it, it doesn't find the drivers for the hardware in the CD or in the copied drivers folder.

i've tried downloading the new drivers, i'm lost...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. all technical support could say was, "uhmm...i don't know, i'm confused, your computer isn't supposed to do that...blah blah blah"

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
