Hey guys when I play MW2 or a game with chat all is fine. I am playing gta4 right now the single player and I have my headphones on since I can't have the tv volume loud. The headset is echoing non stop whenever someone talks and it is driving me friggin crazy. Does anyone know how to fix this? I need to have the headset on so I can actually hear my game plus I don;t want to miss out on any of the story
 
I think headset echoing is a weird hardware issue when the rechargeable battery is plugged into the XBOX controller with the cable attached. Try removing the battery and played with the controller plugged in.
